Ahmedabad Metro Project
At Helmet Circle, one of Ahmedabad’s busiest junctions, we saw an opportunity to do something different. Instead of letting the metro pillar remain just another concrete structure, we transformed it into a living green landmark.
Yashvi Greens designed and installed a vertical plantation system that wraps the pillar in layers of vibrant greenery. What was once purely functional infrastructure now adds life, color, and freshness to the intersection. Commuters passing by every day don’t just see a metro pillar anymore. They experience a touch of nature in the middle of city traffic.
Built for outdoor conditions, the installation is designed to thrive in Ahmedabad’s climate while maintaining its visual impact. This project reflects our belief that urban infrastructure does not have to be grey and rigid. With the right approach, it can breathe, grow, and positively influence the way a city feels.
